Jason Felton

I am a resident of the City of Fremont in Newaygo County, Michigan.  I’m not a historian so all my ramblings here should be taken as those of an interested individual.

I’m a former chairperson of the Newaygo County Democratic Party so I think my interest in the history of politics in the county is self-explanatory!  It really all began though when I happened to come across a mention of the democratic chairman from 1884.  After making some inquiries I learned that we’ve lost a lot of the history of the party in this county, including basic knowledge such as who our officers were.  The idea of starting this blog came pretty quickly after that!
